Survival Training

When you're miles from the nearest road and something goes wrong, you become the first responder. Wilderness First Aid (WFA) training gives you the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to take control when medical emergencies happen far from help.

This isn't basic first aid. This is real-world training for real-life situations—where cell service doesn’t exist, gear is limited, and every decision counts.

This is an ideal course for anyone planning a wilderness trip. This course also satisfies the requirements for Scouts.

Why Wilderness First Aid Training Matters

Emergencies Happen More Often Than You Think

1 in 15 outdoor enthusiasts experiences a medical incident on the trail.

Sprains, fractures, bleeding wounds, allergic reactions, and hypothermia are among the top wilderness injuries.

Help Isn’t Minutes Away—It’s Hours

The average rescue time in remote areas ranges from 2 to 8 hours.

In many cases, survival depends on decisions made before help arrives.

You’ll Learn Life-Saving Skills You Can Actually Use

WFA training teaches you how to:

Stabilize injuries with minimal supplies

Control bleeding and prevent shock

Treat bites, burns, heat and cold exposure

Improvise splints, bandages, and shelters

Lead confidently in stressful emergency scenarios

It’s Not Just for Professionals

Backpackers, hikers, hunters, guides, scouts, survivalists, campers, and families all benefit from WFA. If you step off the pavement, this training is for you.

The Facts Speak for Themselves

Over 3,000 rescues each year involve hikers, campers, or adventurers caught without medical training.

A simple fall is the #1 cause of wilderness injuries.

Up to 60% of backcountry incidents could be managed more safely with proper first aid knowledge.

Most wilderness deaths are caused by delayed treatment, not lack of rescue.

Why Take a Wilderness First Aid Class?

Because panic is replaced by preparation. Fear is replaced by leadership. And in the moments that matter, you’ll know what to do.

This course could save a life—maybe even yours.

Get trained. Be ready. Lead with confidence in the wild.
